Canada to Reopen Its Borders on Aug. 9

After reading the article, I was left wondering what is going to happen once the U.S. opens its borders and people start to look to buy. As of this morning there were only 35 active listings in all of Pelican Bay! Does anyone remember when I blogged about low-rises having 110 active listings?

It’s definitely a Seller’s market. If you are thinking of selling, you can be aggressive with your price. There are so few listings and so much demand your property should sell quickly.

Hurricane Irma

LAmbiance – Pelican Bay – Naples FL – My husband, Don and I have been following Hurricane Irma’s projected path. We are heeding the warnings and have already begun to put up our hurricane shutters.  We wanted to get a head start on this because there could be rain tomorrow.  Today’s been a busy day getting all our important papers together and packing in case we decide to evacuate.

If you haven’t done so already, you want to make sure EVERYTHING is off your lanais. You don’t want to have projectiles smashing through your lanai sliding doors or your neighbors’ lanai doors.  This same philosophy applies to any flower pots you have around your unit.  If you are not in residence, you’ll want to make sure your home watch person gets your furniture in from the lanai.

Don’s been busy putting up our hurricane shutters.  He’ll need a dip in the pool when he is done.

It’s a good idea to get ready NOW!  It looks as if Irma could be coming our way on Sunday.  I hope you all stay safe.

Sealcoating Schedule

LAmbiance – Pelican Bay – Naples FL There is always some work going on in L’Ambiance.  Our pool has been resurfaced and is now open for use.  Work will begin on sealcoating the blacktop on L’Ambiance’s road beginning on September 6th and ending on September 13th. Eagle Property Management has sent out an e-mail regarding this event.  I thought it would also be worthwhile to post the map of the schedule on our site.

I was here the last time L’Ambiance  sealcoated the blacktop. We had workmen, visitors and Residents driving over newly seal coated areas.  Please take a moment to study the map and make arrangements to move and park your car the night before the sealcoating starts in your area.  Please also avoid scheduling workmen or cleaning people while this work is being completed.  It would also be a good idea to inform tenants and guests of the impending sealcoating so they also can make arrangements to park.

Yesterday found me working on market evaluations for some potential Sellers in Pelican Bay.  In the course of doing these numbers, I had to calculate some statistics for low-rise condos in Pelican Bay.  As L’Ambiance is a low-rise complex, you might want to take a moment to view the YTD numbers.
